Many Liverpool fans believe that the triumph of the Champions League last month could herald the beginning of a glorious period under the thumb of Jurgen Klopp.
And the bookmakers are in full agreement, judging by the chances of winning various trophies that the Reds will hold for next season.
Starting in August, Liverpool will have two opportunities to claim silverware.
Manchester City were installed as marginal favorites of the Community Shield, the Reds being around a 6/5 chance to lift the cup in the capital.
Ten days later, Liverpool will face Chelsea in Istanbul in the final of the UEFA Super Cup.
While Eden Hazard leaves for Real Madrid and Klopp's team is 26 points ahead of Londoners, the Reds are big favorites for the game.
Liverpool are currently priced at 4/5 to bring within 90 minutes and are available at around 1/2 to win global.
The odds are not yet available for the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar, which will take place in December, but the Reds are likely to be the favorites for the moment.
And success will surely depend on the seriousness with which Klopp will decide to take it given his less than ideal timing.
As for the other competitions as the campaign progresses, Liverpool is really at the top of all the markets.
Another intense battle against Manchester City is expected in the Premier League, and the Reds are the second favorites at this stage with chances of around 5/2 compared to 4/6 of the city.
After two consecutive appearances in the Champions League final, Klopp's accusations are 8/1 third favorites taste again to European glory with only Barcelona (6/1) and City (5/1) imagined in front of them.
