A neighbor asked me a few days ago why I was so critical of the public demonstrations of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), against the Electoral Commission (EC). My response to her was that when it came to evil politicians (who have become drunk on power and seek to cling to power, at all costs, after getting a beating in an election), organizing public protests just isn’t smart.
In such situations, public demonstrations only feature thieves in high places, seeking a return to power, again, despite everything, with the possibility of infiltrating these public demonstrations with typical agent-provocateurs, who resort to violence to discredit what are supposed to be peaceful protests. Ghanaians do not like violent public demonstrations. Complete stop. Case closed.
If I were a member of the NDC (God forbid!), I would rather focus on collaborations with common good organizations abroad, such as the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), for a certain number of achievable goals desired.
For example, a collaboration with the ICIJ can be used successfully by the NDC, to keep a paper trail, if any, of offshore cash payments made to buy the 2020 election. It’s not rocket science, oooo . Yooooooo …
And, subsequently, using ICIJ members in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member states, after unearthing vital evidence, will allow the NDC to petition their governments, indict all the Ghanaians implicated in this blatant treason. act of complicity to sell a national election. Easy.
The question for the NDC to think about is: Are all those top leaders in the Ghanaian administration who were bribed (according to bush-telegraph sources) to sell the 2020 elections, don’t they? have they not mistreated servants in their offices, anaaa? Hmmm, eyeasem, ooooo …
Also, these abused minions, don’t they know a lot of top-secret things-paaapa, anaaaa, and won’t they gladly let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, if they knew of the existence of a well- an endowed reward fund, set up by the NDC’s wealthiest supporters, specifically to generously reward anyone who provides credible information, on the 2020 election theft? Yoooooo …
There is no doubt that such a strategy, by the NDC, will help secure convictions in the courts of OECD member countries. That’s because these abused minions, will happily sing, paaaa – in the face of the prospect of also being able to finally get rich too: like their arrogant and dismissive bosses? I believe it’s called Adidigya Betrayal Syndrome, Massa. Easy. Public demos are an old hat in such situations, oooo, wai. Yoooooo …
