Why should the flash pass the cicada in the wake of this big bomb Nora?

Warning: Spoilers to come for episode 17 of The flash Season 5, called "Time Bomb".

Cicada has been announced as the next big villain on The flash back in summer before the first season 5, but recent episodes have seen Chris Klein's Orlin Dwyer lose his status as the naughtiest villain of the season. Now, after the events of "Time Bomb", I have to argue that it's time for The flash to switch from Cicada and move the focus to Nora and Reverse-Flash. Here's why.

Let's start with what happened on the front of the cicadas. During the first 55 minutes or so of the episode, it seemed that the biggest rebound was to be the confrontation between Orlin Dwyer and adult Grace Gibbons. Dwyer had been cured of his metahuman status in the previous episode and he was no longer the cicada that he was before. Unfortunately, her loving niece Grace has received some power from the cicada, and her own are much more powerful and more telekinetic than her own.

As Cicada 2.0, Grace is obsessed with the revenge of her parents by retaliating with Metas. She came back in the past to fight the good guys in Central City. When she had Flash Team at her mercy, her uncle was introduced to try to denigrate her. Grace realized that he would not stand in the way of any obstacle to prevent him from following a dark path and that rather than take that as motivation to stop hunting people, she just killed her uncle. TEAR. Cicada 1.0.

Yes, Chris Klein's cicada is dead and Cicada 2.0 has escaped after killing his uncle. The good news is that she did not kill any Team Flash members after defeating Orlin. The bad news is that she is in the wind and more powerful than Orlin. In addition, she comes from the future and therefore has the technology and knowledge that Team Flash (with the possible exception of Nora) may not be familiar with. Will The flash spend the next six episodes between Team Flash and Cicada 2.0?

Well, it's possible, but my fingers are crossed The flash will pbad all things Cigales. While I was a big fan of Cicada at the start of the season, Nora's plot plot with Reverse-Flash has become a lot more interesting, and Nora's latest bomb proves me that there's has more to extract from his plot than from Cicada 2.0.

The truth has finally appeared on Nora's forehead. After spending most of season 5 probing Nora's secrets, Sherloque finally found a piece of evidence that proved that Nora had had help with her accomplishments in time travel and that help came from the future Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse-Flash.

Sherloque found clues in Team Flash's evidence archive as he watched Thawne's time posing as Harrison Wells of Earth-1, and he went to the Time Vault to chat with Gideon. There, he found a recording of Thawne writing on a board and arriving at the usual conclusion that "the timeline is malleable".

Between Sherloque's familiarity with the expression after reading Nora's language of the time and Gideon's writing badysis, it became clear that Thawne was 100% the man who helped Nora of the future. Sherlock did not stay long on this knowledge. In the final minutes of the episode, while the majority of Team Flash members were celebrating, Sherloque finally addressed the issue in front of everyone.

Even when Nora begged him to stop talking, he scoured the rest of Team Flash – including Barry and Iris, visibly dismayed – through what Nora had done, and Nora's guilt was on his face. She could not answer when Iris asked her to refute Sherloque's words and Barry realized that all of this was true. Nora began to say that she had tried to tell them the truth, but Barry had seized him and had them taken to the pipeline, where he had hidden his daughter in one of the cells of the house. 39; damping.

Something tells me that Barry has just realized that Nora is an adult, even if she is his daughter! She shouted after him that she regretted lying, but Barry only said that he regretted it too, and he turned his back on him and walked away. Nora fell to her knees and broke down in tears.

As heartbreaking as seeing Barry and Iris realize their daughter's deep betrayal – even with the best intentions in the world – and Nora collapse, this opens the way to The flash to finally dive into the agreement between Reverse-Flash and Nora. Conversely Flash has probably been The flashThe most impressive and scary thing to date, and Tom Cavanagh is still annoying in the role.

Nora's involvement in Reverse-Flash is simply more interesting and more far-reaching than anything that could be with Cicada 2.0, which did not even make its debut in naughty form before the seventeenth episode of the season. I'm voting for The flash to end the cicada's bow and devote the rest of the season as much as possible to the fallout of Barry's beloved daughter, joining forces with her most hated enemy. Hey, maybe Nora could learn her lesson just in time to play the co-star role in a spin-off!

The promo of the next episode proves that the series will not simply plunge back into the danger of the Cicada or the shark-man against the gekilla-esque telekinetic shenanigans. Viewing:

Looking at the promo sequences, Barry will not be inclined to forgive his daughter so soon, which is understandable. Even though he loves Nora, he only knows her for a short time and he explained to her what Reverse-Flash had done to their family. For Barry, she probably had every chance of turning away from her Reverse-Flash arrangement.

Iris seems more inclined to defend her daughter, which is contrary to the fact that their future relationship seemed to be back at the beginning of the season. The rest of the Flash team definitely has some thoughts to make. The inverted flash hurt them almost emotionally and physically. Cisco even has memories of being killed by Thawne when he pretended to be Harrison Wells.

The bad news is that the next episode will not air until Tuesday, April 16 at 8 pm AND on the CW, so the fans will be without new episodes of The flash for almost a full month. At least, there are many other options that will hit the airwaves this mid-season.
