Why the World Health Organization has added burnout to the CID

ICD-11 means International Clbadification of Diseases 11th Revision. The World Health Organization (WHO) is the world's recognized authority on health.

WHO has recognized burnout as a professional phenomenon that stems directly from our collective stress of work stress.

Burnout is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic stress at work that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three key factors: "feelings of exhaustion or exhaustion of energy; heightened mental distance from his work, or feelings of negativity or cynicism related to his work; and reduced professional efficiency. Exhaustion is real, friends. When the WHO mentioned it in its eleventh revision of its clbadification of diseases, you know that it is making its way.

In the 12 years that I have spent in the health sector, I guess (conservatively) that 75% of all patient visits were stressful among the reasons for the visit.

Smartphones, constant connectivity, no closures, excessive shit spending we do not need, (anti) social media and constant comparison of our lives weigh on every generation.

We are talking about lack of sleep, disengagement, drastic increases in diabetes, heart attacks in people under 40, etc., and we are about to face a disaster.

I can not believe that so many people flirt with their own 369 days.

What do we need to combat burnout?

LIMITS

We must not say more. We must first take care of ourselves, we must overcome the fear of what people will think or say (because the spoiler alert: most people do not think about what you think they think .)

We need to spend more time browsing our to-do list instead of our to-do lists. Read my post about it.

We must stop living in houses that are too big for us, with garages full of shit that we do not use. You know you pay more rent / taxes / utilities / etc. to store things you do not use, is not it?


Just like Smokey Bear says that only you can prevent forest fires, only YOU can prevent your burnout.
