Why this threat of “If you challenge me….” by some Ghanaian politicians?

[ad_1]

It has become one too many threats of “if you challenge me, I will expose you by revealing all your secrets to the public” by some Ghanaians in the Ghanaian political arena. These empty threats that do not materialize, although they are repetitive, do not suit me.

Some of those people who threaten others in this way, in my opinion, should not see themselves as saints doing good service to the nation. No they are not! They unwittingly help and encourage suspected criminals to commit crimes of which they are aware but do not want to be revealed to the public.

How many times has a stadium Kwame Appiah, an activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a stooge or sycophant of former President John Dramani Mahama, by his own thanks, actions and words, threatened to expose certain members of the NDC by revealing their criminal activities should they challenge him?

If he hadn’t even threatened them with his willingness to reveal his limited or voluminous knowledge of their involvement in the disappearance of the late President, Professor Evans Atta Mills, and how they were illegally amassing wealth if they continued to denigrate or sabotage his lord John Dramani Mahama, whose excrement he promised to be ready to eat?

How many times have we heard Samuel Koku Anyidoho, the former deputy general secretary of the NDC, come out to threaten that if he was pushed to the wall by some people within the NDC or the NDC as a party, he ready to spill the beans? Hasn’t that even raised suspicion in the minds of some Ghanaians that he knows how and who played a role, be it malicious or laudable, in the death of President Atta Mills? then in exercise?

Has he not said many times that at the NDC their leaders train them to insult certain prominent figures in the country and to tell lies about them, especially those of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)? Was he not once invited by one or more important personalities of the NDC to launch verbal attacks against the founder of the NDC, former president Flt. Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, but only to be warned against such a move by then serving as President, Professor Evans Atta Mills?

Just three days ago, NDC supporters in Asawase constituency in Kumasi, Ashanti region, issued a warning statement to the loquacious, most disrespectful, lying and lousy propagandist. lay lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, NDC communications officer. In their warning statement, they threatened, as usual, to expose Sammy Gyamfi if he extended his absurd attacks on people to their respected parliamentarian Alhaji Muntaka Muburak.

Sammy Gyamfi has, following the plenary certification of the ministerial nominees, Dr Afriyie-Akoto, Ms Hawa Koomson and Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah, by the Parliament, taken Muntaka, Haruna Iddrisu and Alban Bagbin to the cleaners. He claims that the NDC parliamentarians should have respected the directive of the NDC Functional Committee to reject the mentioned candidates but not to approve them. He sees the NDC leadership in parliament as defying party orders when the nominees have been approved by parliament.

These Muntaka supporters, though asked how Sammy Gyamfi got the two VE 8 cars he uses and the luxury lifestyle he enjoys, have threatened to reveal all of his secrets if he continues the attacks he launched against Mutaka Muburak.

What dirty secrets do these guys in the political arena and corridor powers know and hold to their chests but dare to reveal if challenged?

They should not think in their twisted mind that they are rendering quality service to the nation and people of Ghana with such boastful but meaningless threats. Rather, they are the enemies of the republic and are just as guilty as those they threaten to denounce. If they can’t exhibit them for a good or a bad number of reasons, they better shut up because it takes two for tango.

What a bunch of criminals marching through the corridors of power or the political arena of Ghana! If you can’t name the criminals and their crimes, don’t mention it at all.

As they serve their selfish interests, we have a host of clueless individuals who call themselves party activists ready to die making their masters bid when they tossed a ten Cedi note as it was heard or who would have sweated in the 2020 election, to instantly change his mind to vote. a certain direction contrary to their convictions. Isn’t it just a fool who will do this to the detriment of their future individual prosperity and the collective interest of the nation and the people?

We had better grow up and behave responsibly as a nation and people because Ghana is 64 years old today! She was born on March 6, 1957, the day she gained independence from the British colonial government.
