Georginio Wijnaldum believes that Liverpool should be on the alert after returning to the national championship after the Champions League summit in Germany midweek.

The 3-1 win over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena was rightly hailed as an impressive performance, but the quest to end 29 years of waiting for the Premier League title being still in progress, there is no time to waste to do even more European Quarterfinals, where they face Porto.

In fact, Wijnaldum thinks that Sunday's opponent, Fulham, second in the table, could present a proposal even more difficult than the five-time European champion, Bayern.

Jurgen Klopp's players took advantage of their Bundesliga opponents in front of goals outside, having to run in the second second with a score of 1-1 and leaving holes to exploit.

It is unlikely that struggling cottage owners will offer the same amount of space.

"I think it will be even harder in Fulham," said Wijnaldum.

"They fight, fight to survive and it's always hard to play against these teams.

"Fulham will make the task as difficult as possible and we need to focus."

Liverpool will play in the game with its impressive display in Germany and no one is flying higher than striker Sadio Mane. Klopp radiates here on the shape of the player. also offering a firm defense of Mohamed Salah's apparent struggles in front of goal.
