Senator Magnus Abe, representative of Rivers South-East's Senate District in the National Assembly, said that Governor Nyesom Wike was taking advantage of the political mistakes made by the Minister of Transport, Chibuike Amaechi, in the state .
Abe, who was reacting to Amaechi's accusations, saying he (Abe) was responsible for the crisis in the party, called Amaechi, leader of the APC party in the state, to swallow his pride and take responsibility for his Progressive Congress acts, APC, in Rivers State in the current crisis.
"Amaechi explained how he contributed to 80% of Rivers 'politicians, but he never explained to Nigerians that 80% of Rivers' politicians helped to make him what he is today. # 39; hui. S? He created everyone, what did God do?
"Nigerians should ask who's working for Wike, that's the problem that Amaechi posed to APC and that Wike enjoys. His political mistakes made him the greatest benefactor of Wike.
"When this crisis started, we tried to get his attention but he refused. We told him that if this crisis persisted, he would suffer the consequences. What did he do when everyone told him, including his close friends, that he would end up suffering because he's the party leader? "
Abe described Amaechi's remarks against him as very insulting, childish and as an attempt to get away from the heart of the problem.
He added that neither the INEC nor the governor of Rivers State, Wike, was responsible for the deplorable situation in which the party (APC) was located in that state.
"It is unfortunate that Amaechi did not recognize his actions that had resulted in the APC in Rivers State until the end. This is not the president of the INEC, nor Wike, it is not me but the actions of the leader of the APC in Rivers, Amaechi, who led the party where he is.
"Ameachi's comment on the radio today was very childish. What he should be talking about at this stage as a politician is the way forward. How can we come together to deliver the president, because the votes of everyone, including the injured, are needed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
"Secondly, I feel insulted when Amaechi said that Wike was using me. With all due respect to the Governor of Rivers State, he is by no means my supervisor. He is my junior at the bar and in politics.
"I have tried as much as possible to keep our dirty laundry inside, Amaechi should no longer open his mouth and say that Wike uses it. He, Amaechi could not use me as governor, contrary to my principles and beliefs, so how can Wike, in a different party, use me? "
