Kotoko wants to add Opoku Mensah to his team
The Asante Kotoko turned their attention to William Opoku Mensah, the Karela FC striker, according to reports to Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors are determined to strengthen their team for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
After failing to sign with AshantiGold trio Shafiu Mumuni, James Akaminko and Richard Dodji, Kotoko reportedly opened talks with Karela.
Mensah scored seven goals in the first half of Ghana's truncated first division before the league suspension.
His goals include the hat trick against Hearts of Oak in the 3-1 home win.
