The costs of these three days are covered by Visit Finland, a national tourist office. Those interested in this trip will have to apply online after shooting a short video where they describe themselves, talk about their connection to nature and explain why they want to experience Finland.
Eight Finnish host families were chosen from all over the country to represent Finland.
"We wanted to have ordinary Finns who wanted to tell an authentic story and show the beauty of Finland to their guests," said Joonas Halla, Public Relations and Media Manager.
Finland has been chosen for two consecutive years because of the generosity of its people, the freedom to make life decisions, social relations and health and life expectancy, according to the report. l & # 39; UN.
