WinCo Foods is recalling 12 ounce bags of its brand Frozen Red Raspberries as they may be contaminated with norovirus.
The grocery chain said the product had been manufactured by Rader Farms, of Bellingham, in the state of Washington. WinCo stated that it was aware of the problem after the results of the tests conducted by the Food and Drug Administration.
The product has an expiry date of February 13, 2021 and a lot number of 4045902.
They have been sent to stores in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Texas and Utah. WinCo says it has already removed the remaining bags from its stores.

Customers who have one are encouraged to throw it away or return it to the store for a full refund.
No case of client's illness has been reported.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that norovirus is highly contagious and can cause vomiting and diarrhea. Everyone can be infected and sick with norovirus. In addition to eating foods contaminated with norovirus, you can get it by putting your fingers in your mouth after touching objects contaminated with norovirus.
