Stacey Dooley's relationship would be tense because of the busy schedule of Strictly Come Dancing's live tour.

The documentary filmmaker, who won the BBC show with pro partner Kevin Clifton, would confide in his friends that his relationship with boyfriend Sam Tucknott is under pressure after spending a month on the sidelines.

Stacey, who dances with Aljaz Skorjanec during the tour, has been dating her personal trainer for seven years, but it is said that they have struggled to spend time together recently.

An insider on the tour told the Sun: "Stacey told everyone who was listening behind the scenes that this tour was putting pressure on her relationship.

"She's already blamed the past six months for Strictly for putting her love life to the test, but now, being away from home has made things even more difficult.

"Sam encouraged her to do the show but did not spend so much time with her."

They added that the couple were training together most days and that Sam was not sure of the distance he could still travel.

Stacey won the show with Kevin

This comes after reports that he was worried about his dance with single Kevin.

The pro, who has separated from his Strictly wife and compatriot Karen Clifton, does not participate in the tour because of his commitment to the play Rock Of Ages.

After the announcement, Stacey joked that things were not "arranged" between her and Kevin.

Speaking in Good Morning Britain, the red-haired beauty teased the reason she had changed her professional, while she joked: "I liked Kev, but it did not work!"
