The dreaded weather has come where we have to get ready to say goodbye to a beloved character. It's fair to say that this exit announcement hit us like a ton of bricks and left Emmerdale fans devastated.
Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert Sugden, will leave the series at the end of the year and the fans were hoping for a replacement script for Robert and Aaron, which has now created a lot of uncertainty. But one thing is for sure, Emmerdale fans in the country will miss Ryan a lot.
Arrived for the first time on our screens in 2014, Ryan took over the role of Robert Sugden. The character had been postponed several times before, which apparently would have added a lot of pressure, but Ryan made it look like it was effortless and it was like we were seeing him for the first time. At first, Robert was hungry for money and power, but it was an outside. Below all this was a vulnerability and a heart capable of unconditional love. It was a roller coaster ride for Robert and here are some of the things we will miss most of our favorite villain become a good guy.
His humor
Robert's sarcasm and sarcasm never fail to make me laugh. One sentence keeps me in mind when he ran into Paddy saying, "Why do not you do us a favor and go back to polishing your head." Another line that comes to my mind is his remark to Chrissie and his story with men. to deceive her. "You should be used to that now." It was hard but we could not help but laugh at the delivery of the line by Ryan. You can see more Roberts One liners in the video below.
His iconic facial expressions
It's no wonder Ryan is considered the king of facial expressions. They are always there! We do not see them coming and when they play, we can not help laughing. Here are some of his most memorable ones.
"Wow, throw all that money in a fire was not so bad at all"
"Please stop talking."
"Pretend as if I really wanted to be here"
His parenting skills
It was once hard to imagine Robert as a parent, but he turned out to be a brilliant father for Seb. He also posted an overly protective side of Dad where Liv is concerned. When Gabby and Liv brought Josh and his friend, Robert threw all the weapons and told them that they had five seconds to go out.
It was quite comical but also comforting to see how much he had learned to care for Liv after doubting that she was an important part of Aaron's life. More recently, he comforted Liv after breaking up with Jacob telling him that she should not have to change for anyone, a tip that I'm sure Robert would have appreciated himself when his father, Jack, had hard to accept Robert. baduality. Robert is becoming the father he would have liked to have.
His stratagems
When things do not go as planned, you can be sure that the wheels will turn in Robert's heads and that his next project is already well underway. Most often, they end up failing and Aaron is there to reprimand him, but it's comforting to see that his plans are out of his love for Aaron. My favorite moment was when Aaron got involved and worked together to sabotage the Ross grbad farm!
Robron
Robert and Aaron have lived so much together. From an affair that has turned into a pbadionate romance to near-death experiences and a beautiful marriage, their love is unlike anything I've seen in soap. Robert helped Aaron through one of the most difficult times of his life when he told him that his father Gordon was badually badaulting him. Aaron was present for Robert when he told him about his bibaduality and his tense relationship with his father.
They have always had the back of the other, even going so far as to break the law. No risk has ever been too big. Robert was even ready to die with Aaron for a terrifying moment when they crashed into the lake.
In his own words, Robert said to Aaron during the proposal, "You did well in my life" and it's really wonderful that his relationship with Aaron led Robert on the path of love and acceptance who he is.
Viewers just can not get enough, they are practically the power couple of the Dales. The chemistry between Ryan and Danny is magical and we're going to mourn the loss of Robron on our screens for a long time. Just are not ready to let them go!
Regardless of the circumstances surrounding Robert's release, we hope that Robert and Aaron will leave together and that the door will be wide open for a return! Ryan won Best Actor at TV Choice and Tric Awards for his portrayal of Robert over the past five years. We wish him the best for his future projects; I think we can all agree that they would be lucky to have it.
