Arnie was back, baby, but it was as far away from a comeback as you can imagine.
A dominant Wolves performance marked the first appearance of Marko Arnautovic alongside West Ham since the farewell to London Stadium, a fortnight ago, ending in an overwhelming defeat.
While West Ham was appalling, not registering a shot on target, it was one of Nuno Espirito Santo's most beautiful parades of the season, scoring three goals in the second half in 20 minutes.

Arnautovic was very relegated to the rank of cameo. He announced he was "back" after two absence matches following West Ham's loss to the FA Cup against Wimbledon, but he was anonymous and forced 20 minutes from the end after being caught by Ruben Neves.
While he was limping away, Wolves supporters suggested that it might have been better to leave for China after all. He would leave Molineux with a protective boot after being wounded by Manuel Pellegrini as being "not easy".
The Wolves are two-goal bends and win a well deserved victory, Joao Moutinho achieving both goals. He first created Romain Saiss, then later Raul Jimenez.
Four minutes from the end, Jimenez added a third goal by skillfully lifting the ball over Lukasz Fabianski after a decisive pbad by Diogo Jota. On loan from Benfica, Jimenez was the 12th goal of the season and South Bank responded by asking his club to "sign" it permanently.

Lead duo Nuno Espirito Santo and Manuel Pellegrini exchanged jokes before the match began.
The players of both teams observed a minute of silence for Cardiff striker Emiliano Sala before the match
Marko Arnautovic started for West Ham after being ruled out of the Hammers' last two games in his brief saga of transfers.
The result propelled the Santo team to seventh place, while inflicting a third consecutive loss to Manuel Pellegrini. "I was very happy with the way we proceeded, the tempo and the balance," said Nuno. "The boys were brilliant."
Pellegrini did not mince his words. "No shot on goal and three goals conceded, it is impossible to play worse," he said. "It's hard to understand, we were not focused on what we did. We were looking for a reaction, we were fighting, we could not do it. "
Gareth Southgate was in the bleachers to pay close attention to two possible beginners in March and that is Conor Coady who emerged with more credit than Declan Rice.
Coady cleared a bloody nose from Michail Antonio's shaken arm and was ready to clear a dangerous West Ham shot in the middle of the first period. It was as threatening as Pellegrini was when the Wolves created every possible opportunity.
Arthur Masuaku started brilliantly for the visitors and overtook Ryan Bennett before trying to put a center back in the box.
The Mexican wolf forward, Raul Jimenez, shoots a quick shot at goal under pressure from Declan Rice of West Ham.
English coach Gareth Southgate was part of the match as he looked at potential players for his next group.
The Wolves claimed a penalty but the referee insisted that Masuaku won the ball in his Matt Doherty tackle.
The wolves had a golden opportunity to take the lead, but Jonny pitched his header from the center of Jiménez to the last post.
Nuno's team should have been penalized when Arthur Masuaku forced Matt Doherty to drop the player on an awkward trip. Jimenez then fell in the middle of the field to give Jonny Otto a magnificent cross, who had run behind Pablo Zabaleta. But his diving head was wide.
The roles were reversed when Jonny pbaded for Jimenez, whose shot hit the bar. Dendoncker led in the rebound but the flag was already raised, correctly, for offside.
Jota made a good little stop over Fabianski and the Wolves came closer again when the ball bounced invitingly for Doherty, whose touch and finish were as good as any attacker. Fabianski pushed him away.
Samir Nasri and Aaron Creswell were also absent due to injury, but this was not a demonstration of showing former manager David Moyes, also in the stands of Molineux, what he was missing.

After the break, Fabianksi was working again when Jota made a bad finish and, moments later, the West Ham goalkeeper was forced to play again, which prevented Saiss from shooting hard.
Fabianski made his best save of the night by resuming Jonny's fierce effort after 65 minutes, but he was in the corner.
Moutinho's delivery found Saiss, released from Robert Snodgrbad, who threw his head six meters from the net.
West Ham's incompetence in the sets was again evident moments later as Jimenez ran past Rice and finished
The visitors were even more worried because Jimenez produced a delicious chip to do it 3-0.
The keeper of the Wolves, Rui Patricio, could not hide his happiness as he was celebrating in front of the Wolf fans after the third goal
Declan Rice could only staring at the grbad as West Ham fell to his third straight away defeat in the Premier League
Pellegrini immediately responded by sending Andy Carroll, but the Wolves kept the tempo.
Molineux screamed hard for a penalty kick when Zabaleta broke over Jota before sending the ball to a corner. Coote shook his head again and reserved Neves for his protest.
But the frustration evaporated with 10 minutes remaining when Moutinho curled up on another turn and Jimenez beat Rice to fly. And the joy was even greater when Jimenez finished a quick counterattack.
