Halima Cissé, who gave birth to non-tuples at a clinic in Casablanca, told the Daily Mail that babies consume six liters of milk per day.

According to the 26-year-old, who is now a mother of ten, she was shocked after giving birth to the non-tuples, four boys and five girls.

“It was a total shock when I found out I had nine babies because I thought it was going to be seven,” she said.

She admitted that she wondered how she would take care of the children while she was still in the delivery room.

“My sister was holding my hand but all I could think about was how I would take care of them and who was going to help me,” Cisse said.

Almost three months after the miraculous births, six of the babies are still in the incubator.

Cisse told the Daily Mail that taking care of them is a chore while also expressing his gratitude to the team of doctors and nurses who are helping him around the clock.

Caring for the nine children comes at a cost because so far they have racked up an estimated hospital bill of 8.2 million Ghc.

However, luckily for Cissé and her husband Kader Arby, the Malian government is committed to covering the bill.

“It’s amazing how much work it takes to take care of them. I am grateful to the medical team who are doing all the hard work and to the government of Mali for funding this, ”she said.

The babies are expected to stay in the hospital for the next two months.
