Abbad Nurudeen, director of communication for the Ashanti region of the NDC, described the regional president of the New Patriotic Party for the Ashanti [NPP]Bernard Antwi Boasiako, nicknamed President Wontumi, is a "social misfits" for his remarks about the late father of former President John Dramani Mahama, ME A Mahama.

The NDC's communicator, who made very harsh remarks about President Wontumi in an interview with Ghana's NEAT FM morning show "Ghana Montie" on April 16, 2019, did not given satisfaction.
"He [Wontumi] is a very ignorant person who is not fit to be the serial correspondent of a party, not to speak of president. . . everything shows that he is a social maladjustment, "he said.
