COP Addo-Danquah advised investigators to give up their profession and ensure that they finish the cases they were working on. She expressed dissatisfaction with the number of cases that are still under investigation in relation to those that have been settled.
"When a case is referred to you, work on it until the close. Most of our cases are still under investigation. be active and work on your roles, "said COP Addo-Danquah.
She urged them to ensure that they gathered enough evidence and presented credible cases in court for justice to be done.
COP Addo-Danquah said Ghana's police would soon open its resource center, which staff and others could access for their research. However, she congratulated the department on the successes of the past that had attracted the attention of the British government and committed to fund the next two DTA courses before the end of the year.
COP Addo-Danquah said the police would continue to work with other security agencies to achieve their common goal (police and other security agencies), which is to ensure that criminals brought to justice, added that this did not mean that the police were interfering in police work. other security agencies.
The Director of the CID congratulated the Attorney General and the Ministry of Justice, the President of the Supreme Court, among other resourceful people who supported the program.
Police Commissioner Grace Ansah Akrofi, DTA Commander, said participation in programs such as customer service, human trafficking, money laundering, the law of evidence, intelligence gathering, electronic evidence, crime scene management and financial crime work.
