Ghanaians on social media have expressed frustration with recent power outages in some parts of the country.
Most regions of Accra, Madina, Koforidua and Cape Coast experienced intermittent power during the past two weeks.
This has raised concerns about a possible return to rationed power days, commonly known as "dumsor".
After a blackout late Wednesday, most Ghanaians resorted to social media to denigrate Power Distribution Services Ghana (PDS).
The PDS is currently in charge of the electricity distribution sector in Ghana, after taking over from the Ghana Electricity Corporation (ECG) last month.
Below are examples of some frustrated Ghanaians tweets about the power situation:
PDS strikes again.

1) Most Ghanaians so far do not even know that the ECG has been sold. Politicians have quietly buried the news so that most Ghanaians do not know it.
Why would you want to sell a valuable business like ECG without giving Ghanaians reasonable explanations.
Now, I'll go briefly on the company …– Tkay ????????????????????????????????????? (@SaviourTkay) March 13, 2019
Is the government of Ghana or private enterprise? We need answers
Now let's look at the history of the company.
PDS.
Has the government carefully controlled this business?
Will Ghanaians pay more for poor quality electricity?
How did the government choose this company? pic.twitter.com/fpZg8RMfl3– Tkay ????????????????????????????????????? (@SaviourTkay) March 13, 2019
