NXT in Phoenix during the Royal Rumble weekend
NXT in Phoenix during the Royal Rumble weekend

NXT TakeOver is back. Barely two weeks away from the NXT: UK TakeOver show in Blackpool, England, NXT is back in the United States on the Royal Rumble weekend, coming from Phoenix, Arizona.

The five-game card is stacked with important matches and the biggest stars that NXT can offer.

Many of these episodes are intriguing because they feature participants who, apparently, may not be so long for the NXT brand, are destined to make a quick jump to the main WWE television channel. As such, one of the key factors to be considered by the expected winners is the likelihood that they and their opponents will be transitioning to Raw or Smackdown in the near future.

The two major brands of the WWE have seen the arrival of new NXT talent making their appearance in recent weeks: Nikki Cross, EC3, Heavy Machinery and Lacey Evans.

Lars Sullivan would also be on the verge of making his imminent debut. It remains to be seen if these stars can translate the success of NXT into the main list. EC3 and Lars Sullivan are both Vince McMahon wrestlers and will likely receive every chance of success. However, for every shield or Finn Balor, there is an awakening, an ascent, or a no way jose that have been abject failures on the main television list.

The TakeOver NXT lounges now include the NXT UK brand, which could provide another place to work beyond NXT's US talent and failing on the main list. For many, NXT is the leading brand in the entire WWE and a show to stack TakeOver seems ready to produce huge results in the ring and to carry out exciting scenarios.

So, without further ado, let's move on to the five-game NXT TakeOver: Phoenix card, like the SK card, which predicts who will be the big winner in the series.
