We still have 35 games to play for WrestleMania at this week's Monday Night Raw, as the big day gets closer and closer.

Last night, it was SmackDown Live's turn to take us further on the Road to WrestleMania.

Read on for four things we learned at the show of yesterday.

1. Daniel Bryan (and Vince McMahon) block the path from Kofi Kingston to WrestleMania 35

There is something tricky (on the inside) appropriate in the fact that it was Daniel Bryan who put an end to the rise of a favorite of fans looking for something to do. unique opportunities in his life at WrestleMania.

It's even odd that Vince McMahon is the orchestrator behind all this.

Of course, it was Vinny Mac (and Triple H) who beat Daniel Bryan (umpteenth time) again before the arrival of WrestleMania XXX.

These plans were changed only after D-Bry Occupied Raw defeated Triple H in a Mania Title Match title match and defeated Batista and Randy Orton in the main event to win the title.

Times are changing and the golden boy of the crowd is now Kofi Kingston, who has moved away from the battle for almost nowhere a few weeks ago.

But McMahon does not think he's good enough for this WWE Championship game and has placed an almost insurmountable barrier in his path.

A Gauntlet match that he had to win from the start against Sheamus THEN Cesaro THEN Rowan THEN Samoa Joe THEN Randy Orton.

(Despite the fact that Daniel Bryan does not really have the kindest words for McMahon or his company of capitalist polluters lately).

But despite everything, despite all odds and all the shots defeated after the count, Kofi did … but there was still a twist coming.

Vince McMahon had another challenge, and it was a fresh Daniel-Bryan as a daisy to cap off Gauntlet's race, with The New Day forbidding to help their man Kofi.

The new Daniel Bryan made it for an exhausted Kofi with a Running Knee and, in the current state of affairs, KofiMania was stopped and Daniel Bryan is still no opponent for WrestleMania.

2. The IIconics win to win the WWE Women's Team Champion title (and Lacey Evans needs to do something else soon)

Sasha Banks and Bayley have ignored the initial attentions of Nia Jax and Tamina and remain the WWE team champions, but their SDLive challengers made a statement last night.

The IIconics took advantage of another distraction from Lacey Evans (that is, they headed for the ring) to gain an advantage in their match against the title against the Boss The N'Hug Connection and have finally won the victory.

(Even though women as experienced and as talented as Sasha and Bayley should be able to focus better and ignore all the dapper ladies who walk on this ramp until their work is done.)

This should allow them to try their luck against the new women's tag belt, but this is of course not the only candidate.

Beth Phoenix and Natalya, recently met, made noise Monday night. Although Nia Jax and Tamina had two major defeats, they refused to drop it.

In the current state of things, we are planning a fatal quadrilateral for these belts: the Boss & # 39; N & # 39; Hug Connection vs. IIconics vs. Natalya & Beth Phoenix vs. Nia Jax & Tamina.

As for what is happening the same night, according to recent evidence, this could be anyone's match.

3. The Miz finally presents itself as the hero but his career after WrestleMania 35 – win or lose – is less clear

"The problem is that I'm never a good guy, I'm always the bad guy, I think I'm a good guy, but everyone thinks I'm bad … they just do not like me because I fought their heroes, and someday I'll be the hero. "- The Miz speaking to Digital Spy in July 2012

More than six years ago, we sat in front of a table with The Miz and he hinted that, despite defeating all those awesome idiots, he thought deep down inside him that he was a good guy.

He hinted at his latent desire to become the hero of the WWE universe, and more than half a decade later, we are here.

While his friendship with Shane-O-Mac inevitably bought the worst at Mini McMahon, he sort of bought the best at The Miz.

Their partnership (and its end) made it possible for Miz to realize how hard he worked to reach the top of the WWE, often in the face of sneers from his fans and colleagues.

So, despite some occasional shortcuts, The Miz has always been the hero, and he will attempt to defeat the incarnation of the real villain (the boss's son) at WrestleMania.

But the big question is what happens next? If he loses, does Miz turn his back on the fans and start over with these shortcuts? If so, has anything really changed for him?

And if he wins, where does he concentrate his energy? With the inevitable Superstar Shake – Up scheduled shortly after WrestleMania, we are intrigued by what the new hero of the people, The Miz, holds in the coming year.

4. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair go back to basics in strength to beat their two-thirds of their match against WrestleMania

It's fair to say that the dizzying excitement around the WWE Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 35 has been somewhat muted.

Whether it's Ronda Rousey against Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey against Becky Lynch, or Ronda Rousey versus Charlotte Flair against Becky Lynch, we were completely on board early, calling for the game to mark the story and the main event.

But since January, things are terribly complicated.

Becky's victory in the Royal Rumble was followed by her injury / suspension (ok), replaced by Charlotte Flair (hmmm) and reinstated in the match (yay!).

But with the time needed to kill before the big day, there were layers after layers added to it, each removing rather than adding to the thrill.

Even if you can take or leave Ronda's controversial hype videos on the hype, the fact is that the last few weeks on WWETV seem to have been (at best) a stumbling block for building it and, at worst, have been muddy.

So it was a relief to see Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair get rid of all that during the welcome return of the Kevin Owens Show last night.

The verbal has given way to the fray before security intervenes and we have a little reminded why we were waiting for this game and why he deserved his place on the biggest stage of all.

Asuka could rightly wonder why these two Superstars are monopolizing SDLive: we have to leave the hype … under Raw, but we will forgive it in a few weeks, until everything is settled at WrestleMania.

For what it's worth, we FINALLY discovered how to find his WrestleMania challenger.

Mandy Rose's match against Sonya Deville against Carmella against Naomi was booked for next week's show. The winner will face Asuka in Mania.
