Kevin Owens was twice short against Roman Reigns, first at TLC and then again in a cage match on Christmas night. Now, Reigns has a special request from WWE leadership that he will make on Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
Of course, Reigns got some help in his two games with Owens. Jey Uso was there to make the save for Reigns on several occasions, having aligned perfectly with his cousin. With the Royal Rumble at the end of January and no Reigns Universal Championship contenders established beyond Owens, it’s unclear what claim Reigns might possibly have to make of WWE management. Either way, though, it’s likely not to bode well for the locker room on SmackDown.
