SmackDown ended 2020 on a high note with Big E capturing Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship in the final show of the year. On Friday night, Big E puts that title on the line against former US champion Apollo Crews.
The fight took place last week when Big E said he intended to be a fighting champion. He went on to say that he will issue an open challenge for the title. The crews, standing next to Big E after the duo defeated King Corbin and Zayn, interrupted to proclaim he was stepping up his fire.
The Big E vs. Crews fight is one of two title matches taking place on SmackDown. Tag Team Titles will also be on the line inside the ThunderDome when The Street Profits take on Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
