The Raw and SmackDown rosters will begin to undergo a transformation on Friday night with the first night of the WWE Draft. This now annual tradition allows the two brands to bring in new faces to create new rivalries and necessary changes to the weekly television product.
There are probably a lot of surprises in store as the choices start to arrive, including the ability for some of the NXT stars to move the call up to the main roster. You can follow the pick-by-pick draft results here.
Special attention will also be given to the upcoming Crown Jewel event, which on Friday afternoon won an official SmackDown Women’s Championship match between champion Becky Lynch and challengers Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks. Banks returned to action last week at Extreme Rules, attacking Lynch and Belair in their Championship rematch and will be present on Friday night to remedy the situation.
