Some places make power rankings. Here at Cageside, we report on the actions.
In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who ride, and three who go in the opposite direction. After a busy week with participants in the two games of the Money in the Bank, Alexa Bliss having problems with his shoes and a contract signed between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins, many fortunes have been changed.
In this spirit, let's see which stock has decreased the most this week:
Stock Down # 3: The Hardy Boyz
Because of Jeff Hardy's injury, the Hardy Boyz had to quit. Smack down tag team titles without ever defending them. This news ends the last day of the team and the chances for Matt Hardy to receive a boost in singles do not look promising. The remains of Smack down tag team scene does not look too hot either.
Stock Down # 2: The Miz
The Miz lost to Shane McMahon to WrestleMania, was pinned by Baron Corbin on April 22 Grossand was later defeated this week (April 29th) on Gross by Bobby Lashley. The worst part of all this is that he was choked by one of McMahon's most insignificant MMAs after his last defeat. Whereas McMahon is in a bigger quarrel over Smack down with Roman Reigns, it's not to be badumed that Miz will get his win over Shane in their next steel cage match at Money in the bank.
Stock Down # 1: Renewal
The Revival was buried this week with a humbling shave and a new loss to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. It's as if the WWE were using these guys to send a strong message to the rest of the locker room that they would be badly treated if they asked for their release or refused a contract extension.
Let's see now which stock has increased the most this week:
Stock Up # 3: Lars Sullivan
Lars Sullivan is in a Strowman style impulse where he explores all the obstacles that are currently facing him, including personalities such as Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio. As always, it's good to be a great man in the fantastic world of Vince McMahon.
Stock Up # 2: Roman Reign
Roman Reigns overcame the odds on Smack down This week (April 30), he defeated the B-Team in a handicap match despite interference from Elias. This is how the best babyfaces are reserved and there is no doubt that Roman Reigns is a babyface top of the blue brand.
Stock Up # 1: Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon is involved in quarrels over both Gross and Smack down, including starring for the company's first male star, Roman Reigns. Looking at the landscape of WWE heels, a compelling argument can be made that Shane is currently the heel of society.
The universal title on Gross is disputed between two babyfaces, in part because fans do not buy heels like Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley as main events. Lacey Evans is difficult for the Gross Women's Championship, but she is obviously not at the top yet. And while Kevin Owens is a freshly shot heel, it's hard for the WWE Championship SmackDown LiveHe has only been a heel for a few weeks. His dull reservation last summer suggests that he might not have the power to stay in a higher spot.
Meanwhile, Shane McMahon has bet on all pay-per-view programs this year and is still treated as a big deal. With Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar from television since WrestleMania 35Shane McMahon is at his side with Charlotte Flair at the top of the heels of the WWE.
That's it, Cagesiders. In your opinion, which stock has changed the most this week?
