The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will soon launch its latest mid-range smartphones which, thanks to its almost pure Android operating system, also interest customers who prefer to do without custom interfaces. We now have the technical data and official images available for a model: the Xiaomi Mi A3.
The Mi A series is offered by Xiaomi as an alternative to MIUI-based models for several years and, thanks to its participation in the Android One program, offers an "Android as it should". In the Xiaomi Mi A3 series, it will not be otherwise, in addition to the "normal" model, a lighter version of the new smartphone of the middle clbad, relatively cheap and well equipped, is planned.

According to our information, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will be a kind of international version of Xiaomi CC9 recently launched in China, offering very similar features. However, Xiaomi can mix the components of CC9 and CC9e, which is not yet clear from the information we have. Therefore, the information here with some caution.
For example, Xiaomi uses a 6.0-inch AMOLED-based display, which operates with a full HD resolution of 2240×1080 pixels, reaching a pixel density of 409 PPI. At the top is a "notch", a drop-shaped section, in which one receives the front camera with a resolution of at least 32 megapixels.
At the back, Xiaomi has installed a 48 megapixel sensor as the main camera, which is complemented by two cameras running with additional cameras of eight and two megapixels. The maximum aperture size here is F / 1.79, so a relatively large amount of light can land on the sensor. The focus is achieved by means of a phase detection autofocus, a laser focus or a similar advanced technology, without which you must live without.
Under the hood is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octacore-SoC, whose eight cores reach a rate of up to 2.0 gigahertz and should, in almost all cases, be sufficient to allow continuous operation. The chip is built with four gigabytes of memory and 64 or 128 GB of internal flash memory, which can easily be expanded with the help of a microSD card slot. There are also essentially two Nano SIM slots.
Xiaomi has donated to the Mi A3 a pleasantly large battery, with a total capacity of 4000mAh, which can also be quickly powered by a fast charge. Of course, the connection to the power supply is via a USB-Type-C port. The Mi A3 is also expected to be available in Germany in the coming weeks, although we still have no price information.
