XXXTentacion’s mother hints he was going to be a father

Cher was hit with backlash after a tweet in which she suggested that she could have prevented George Floyd’s death from happening if she was at the scene in Minneapolis last May.

The singer recounted a conversation she had with her mother, Georgia Holt, about the trial of former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, accused of killing George Floyd after kneeling on his neck for more than nine minutes.

“I was talking with mum and she said ‘I watched the trial of the policeman who killed George Floyd and cried. I said,’ Mum, I know this is going to sound crazy, but … I kept on going. no thinking… Maybe if I had been there… I could have helped, ”Cher tweeted.

Fans immediately jumped on Cher and tore her apart.

“I love you dear but your white savior complex is showing,” one person said.

Another looked angrier, telling Cher to “stop talking” in a meme.

“This greatly underestimates what the witnesses who testified tried to do to stop his death. There have been MANY testimonials from everyone from a firefighter to an MMA fighter to an elderly man who has tried to calm the situation down, ”one person tweeted. “Singing songs doesn’t erase racism, Cher.”

“Uh… dear, I think you’re great and all, but that’s not it. George Floyd’s murder isn’t about you,” said another reviewer.

Several people supported the Cher.

“It was a very human reaction,” said a fan as Cher was dragged around.

“Why is anyone angry with Cher? Most people who have seen him think or hope they could have helped,” said another. “That’s why so many witnesses are crying on the stand. If Cher is using her fame to help, thank you.”

Another Twitter user said Cher “was just trying to be nice, and it wasn’t involving racism, you want to push the cancellation all over the place and then ask why people don’t support social movements.”
