Kal Yafai will make the fifth defense of his WBA super-weight world title when he faces undeclared Dominican Norbelto Jimenez on June 29 at the Dunkin 'Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

This fight should be the first for the Birmingham fighter since an unprecedented unanimous victory against Mexican Israel Gonzalez in Monte Carlo last November.

The mandatory challenger, Jimenez, has lost eight of his first eleven professional matches, but has been undefeated for 30 times since then, winning his last nine.

Yafai (25-0, 15KOs) looks to put on a show after his last appearance, stating, "After my last fight, I have to go and win and look good.

"That's what made me want to want it even more, to stay at the top and win big battles.

"I sometimes think I'm a little complacent before my last fight and it's changed completely for this one, so I'll be 100% in my game."
