The CEO of South Korean media giant YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, announced that he was resigning from his position in the company … amid drug charges against his singers.
The company has been involved in a series of drug-related scandals, the most recent involving B.I, a former member of the K-pop Boy iKON group.
He left the group on Wednesday because of allegations that he bought drugs three years ago.
Yang, the CEO, reportedly pressured the witness to give B.I's drugs to change his testimony to the police.
Other K-pop stars affiliated with YG include Big Bang and Blackpink.
