Swarna is seen with Vedika. The latter tells him that she is not mad at Kartik. She also shares the fact that she knows that Kartik is still in love with Naira and thinks that she would be lucky even if Kartik provided him with half of it. She decides to take care of him, hoping that someday things will change. Suhasini also tells Kartik that Vedika likes him and that only a lucky few have a chance of this kind.
In Goa, Kairav prepares a fruit cake for Tina (Naira). He brings their friends and family together. Tina is pleasantly surprised to see everyone together. Lisa then shows everyone a glbad jar with a lit lamp. She tells Tina to break the glbad and make a wish, if the lamp continues to be lit. However, when Tina breaks it, the fire dies. This makes Kairav upset. After Tina and the others have gone to the next room, Kairav looks at the lamp and finds it lit again. He asks his father.
Later in the night, Kairav asks Tina if she liked his surprise. She tells him that she loved him. He asks her how she celebrated her birthday earlier and if it was with her father. That makes you shut up. The electricity is cut off. Kairav tells Naira that he will try to sleep alone. He continues to call his father while he sleeps. Tina feels uncomfortable. She goes out and has an imaginary confrontation with Kartik, where she blames him, as well as her doubt, for being the cause of their suffering.
Elsewhere, we see Kartik sleeping on a bench in the park. He gets up and just then, Manish comes in. Seeing Kartik in such a state makes him angry. He feels annoyed as Kartik continues to blame himself for the Naira accident and all that has happened.
