The New York City Department of Health has ordered all ultra-Orthodox Jewish schools in a Brooklyn neighborhood to exclude unvaccinated students from clbades during the current measles outbreak.
In making the order on Monday, the health department said that any yeshiva not in accordance with Williamsburg will be fined and possibly closed.
Municipal health officials said the measles outbreak in Orthodox Jewish communities continued to increase "at an alarming rate."
