Disgruntled students and alumni of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), described the Vice Chancellor, Reverend Professor Anthony Afful-Broni, as the most vindictive Roman Catholic priest that was found to be the most vindictive Catholic priest. they never saw threatening to petition the papacy in Rome about his conduct.

According to him, the incarnation of the recent dismissal of Dr. Frimpong Duku and Professor Ephraim Avea Nsoh and the revocation of the mandate of Dr. Emmanuel Osei Sarpong, based on extremely frivolous charges and aroused a protest among the agitated student body.
