You are invited to extract bauxite in DR Congo – From Tshisekedi to Ibrahim Mahama

The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo has invited the CEO of engineers and planners to launch the commercial exploitation of bauxite in his country.

President Felix Tshisekedi also wants Ibrahim Mahama to help build the capacity of the electricity sector in DR Congo.

He informed Mr. Mahama at a breakfast Saturday in Abuja.

President Tshisekedi congratulated the CEO of Engineers and Planners for his considerable efforts in the mining sector on the continent.

Mr. Mahama accepted the invitation and promised to give the best of himself, as he currently does in Ghana and in other African countries.

The CEO of engineers and planners also had talks with other African business moguls, including Sani Dangote.

Mr. Mahama is in Abuja as a special guest of the Tony Elumelu Foundation's Entrepreneurship Forum in 2019, at the invitation of United Bank of Africa (UBA) founder Tony Elumelu.

The two-day forum that began Friday ended Saturday.
