The people of Bosomtwe in the Ashanti region paid a laudatory tribute to Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum, Minister of Education, for making them proud as a Member of Parliament (MP).

They believe their MP’s achievements in the education sector over the past four years, which propelled him to becoming the responsible minister, bring them great honor and recognition.

Dr Adutwum, who until becoming an MP for Bosomtwe in 2016 was not known in the mainstream political landscape, has become one of the favorite ministers under the current administration.

His in-depth knowledge of the education sector and the dexterity with which he manages the challenges of the education sector have earned him many admirers across the country and beyond.

Therefore, her rise to the post of titular minister by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo did not surprise most Ghanaians, having distinguished herself as a deputy minister.

His commitment to making education accessible to every Ghanaian child in line with the President’s vision, according to his constituents, gives them every reason to be proud of him.

They are happy that their choice of MP has been beneficial not only to them, but also to the entire nation.

The chief of Pramso in the Bosomtwe district, Nana Kofi Gyampo-Tuah II, described Dr Adutwum as a selfless person whose only desire as a politician is to facilitate the development of the constituency to improve people’s lives.

“Dr. Adutwum is not the kind of politician who would distribute money to the people but who would rather invest in infrastructure for the benefit of all, ”he said.

He said the Minister of Education believes in creating a strong human resource base for the country through quality education at all levels of the education system.

The chief listed several projects Dr Adutwum has started to promote science education as well as sponsoring Bosomtwe students to take science and technology related courses at higher education institutions.

District Assembly President (PM) Michael Yaw Acheampong said Dr Adutwum is a progressive leader and the epitome of development in Bosomtwe.

“He is a man of vision whose leadership qualities as a Member of Parliament and Minister make us proud,” he said.
