Loyalty to your minister is the fundamental premise of the success of your work.

"I will not accept any act of disloyalty or subversion on the part of your minister, because I would consider such an act as an infidelity to me personally and, by implication, an infidelity to the state.

"Any MP who thinks the path of advancement depends on your ability to subvert or undermine your minister would be wrong. You would not benefit from this conduct under my presidency.

"To the regional ministers of newly created regions, namely Ahafo, Bono-Est, Nord-Est, Savanna, Oti and Ouest-Nord, you have the heavy responsibility of fulfilling your responsibilities. The creation of these new regions offers us new opportunities to better meet the needs of the population through the effective reorganization and distribution of our public services and infrastructure.

"That's why they voted to be part of the new regions. You can not disappoint them. At the presentation of the respective constitutional instruments to the respective heads of delegations, I badured that the government that had facilitated the creation of the regions, in accordance with the teachings of the Constitution, would contribute to the good start and development of each region.

"After the referendums and your appointments, I constituted all 67 members of the committee chaired by this remarkable Minister of Regional Reorganization and Development, the MP. Dan Botwe, MP, to plan and oversee the rapid development of the region. An amount of GHS 20 million has been allocated as seed money to each region to help build the necessary infrastructure for the smooth take-off of each region.

"Your market orders must complement the work of the committee, work hand-in-hand with them and help accelerate the growth of your regions. You are on an exciting new path by being involved initially in the development of new administrative regions. You are pioneers with all its challenges and perspectives. You have a chance to make history, to seize it, "he said.

"In April and May, I will begin my annual visits to the country starting with the new regions. I will be in Western North, Ahafo and Bono East in April and Oti, Savanna and North East in May. I hope you have settled there by then. In conclusion, I tell you that you board a ship halfway through the crossing. I am counting on you to add even more vim to the work of the crew. so that together we can fulfill our mandate to the Ghanaian people. "
