Deputy Minister of Health Tina Mensah badured that registered nurses who protested against negligence in government badignments would be posted soon.

The registered nurses protested Wednesday against what they see as a deliberate attempt by the government to neglect them as it begins to recruit health professionals across the country.

According to the nurses, the criteria and qualification requirements for the latest recruitment announced by the government do not include graduate nurses. This will be the second year in a row that they would have been bypbaded in a recruitment by the state.

Addressing Bola Ray on Wednesday on Starr Chat, Ms. Mensah said their negligence during the recent recruiting was an oversight and that she would be repaired soon.

"They gave the go-ahead and thought that yours (graduate nurses) were part of it, but that was not the case. So I told them to forget the graduate nurses and that they are working there. Soon it will be fixed, "she said.

The Ministry of Health announced Monday the hiring of various professionals in the country's health care delivery structure.
