A high number under 30 are not showing up for their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine within the recommended 12 weeks, according to data from Public Health England.
According to the latest figures from PHE, 41.3% of 18-24 year olds and 46.5% of 25-29 year olds in England received a second dose. In contrast, more than 91% of the over 60s in England had had their second jab at a comparable stage of deployment for their age cohort.
In Scotland 52.4% of people aged 18-29 received a second dose, while in Wales 65.9% of this group received both injections. In Northern Ireland, 54.9% of people aged 18 to 29 had the second injection.
We are interested in hearing from under 30s in the UK who have had their first stroke but have not yet had the second despite being eligible. We would also like to hear from young people who are now fully vaccinated.
