Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia ensured the security of companies established in Ghana by citizens of the country residing abroad.
Bawumia noted that the government has put in place measures to create a business-friendly climate. As a result, Ghanaians living outside the country's jurisdiction should seize investment opportunities in Ghana.
"Ghana is an oasis of peace in the subregion, where the rule of law is respected. I badured them of the safety of their investments because of the rigorous enforcement of the law and encouraged the business community to seriously consider investing in his country, "said Dr. Bawumia on his wall Facebook on Friday, April 12, 2019, after being addressed to the Ghanaian community of New York at an event organized by the Ghana Chamber of Commerce, United States.
"I reiterated the government's commitment to creating an investment-friendly environment in Ghana and how businesses around the world have benefited from it to establish in the country," he said. he adds.
Bawumia is expected to deliver a keynote address at the annual Columbia University Economic Forum in New York and the 2019 Emerging Market Summit at the Booth Business School at Chicago University in Chicago, Illinois.
He will also travel to Dallas, Texas, to interact with the Ghanaian community and inform him about events at home.
