Director Zack Snyder recently announced a release date for the trailer for his upcoming zombie movie, Army of the Dead.

Snyder uploaded a poster for Army of the dead to his Twitter page with caption, “The survivors take it all. [Army of the Dead] sure [Netflix] May 21st. Army of the dead marks Synder’s second zombie-centric film since his directorial debut in 2004, Dawn of the Dead, a remake of George Romero’s 1978 zombie classic. The film centers on a team of mercenaries, led by Dave Bautista’s Scott Ward, who use the chaos of a zombie outbreak as a smokescreen to fight their way through through a Las Vegas now in quarantine in order to pull off the ultimate heist. The film will not only be followed by a Netflix-distributed prequel film directed by Matthias Schweighöfer but an anime spin-off series co-directed by Snyder titled Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas.

In addition to Army of the dead, Snyder to release his highly anticipated “Snyder Cut” of 2017 Justice League to HBO Max on March 18. The recently released trailer for the film was released on February 14, featuring new scenes and updated character designs, including the debut of Apokolips Darkseid’s rule, a black-costumed Superman, and a showdown between Batman. and Jared Leto.
