News reaching Ethereum World News indicate that the company ZCash has changed its name to become the electrical currency to clarify more. This name change is intended to differentiate them from the ZCash Foundation. The latter is a non-profit organization that focuses on financial confidentiality. The ZCash Foundation serves users of the ZCash protocol and blockhain, as well as support for other zero-knowledge cryptography applications.

The full corporate name of ZCash Corporation was Zerocoin Electric Coin Company, LLC. For a while, the full name had been truncated to the simpler name of "ZCash Company." The team therefore decided to take the new name Electric Corner Company to clarify the entity it represents. However, brand change does not change their vision and mission. It's still the same. The explained in their announcement as follows.
