People from Harare, Zimbabwe's capital, donated food, clothing and other necessities to cyclone victims Idai at Presbyterian Church.

One of the church's volunteers, Natalie Detering, told the BBC that she was surprised to find that a woman had appeared just before 7:00 am local time, after walking for about two hours to donate.

Ms. Detering stated that the donor had stated that she could not pay for her bus ticket, but that she had made the entire trip from home because Jesus had told her to do it.

Among her gifts, which she wore on her head, were a pot, a blanket, clothes and a towel.

"I cried all day every time I thought about it," Ms. Detering said.
