The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, the Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah said the government, through a Sinohydro facility, would build an 1800-a-day incineration plant for Accra West, a 200-metric-tonne-a-day transfer station for Accra East and a transfer station of 100 metric tons per day for Sekondi-Takoradi.
She suggested that her department had written to all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to deploy sanitation guards by July 2019 in the various communities to badist in enforce the laws on sanitation in the country.
