The NHK public broadcaster, quoted by anonymous sources, reportedly said Friday that Tokyo prosecutors would indict the former car mogul on Monday, suspecting him of using Nissan's money. for his personal investments in 30 companies.
Kyodo News announced that prosecutors had decided to indict Ghosn on April 22.
NHK announced that about 3 billion yen ($ 26.8 million) transferred to a US company called Shogun Investments, led by Ghosn's son, had been spent on investments in at least 30 companies.
Tokyo prosecutors are also considering questioning Ghosn's son, according to NHK.
Ghosn had already spent 108 days in detention under the head of three other charges of presumptive financial foul – charged with two charges of deferring part of his salary and having it concealed from shareholders and d & # 39; another charge of attempting to transfer personal losses to the company.
