New York Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay admitted he had a rocky time with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett during Thursday night’s game against the Washington soccer team.
Cameras caught Golladay yelling from the sidelines, and it first emerged that he was directing his passion towards quarterback Daniel Jones. On Monday, Golladay explained the sideline explosion and said it was Garrett who had drawn his anger.

“Really that kinda comes with me. Really, I’ve never done anything like this either – but really passionate, just being a competitor. I like to do whatever I can to help the team. the emotions get the better of me, ”Golladay said.
He said it had nothing to do with giving him more ball.
“Not that much. Pretty much just me talking to (Jason Garrett) a little bit, and they’re two competitive guys out there. Plus, I just wanna do whatever I can. Not so much, ‘Give me plus the ball, ‘although.’

He said he and Garrett were all good and that he was happy with his role on the team.
“I’m happy with the role. I’d say I’m happy with the role. I find myself in tough situations and (have to) make tough captures, and that’s all I could ask for.”
The Giants’ free agent signing was targeted eight times and he caught three passes for 38 yards in New York’s 30-29 loss. In the first two games of the season, Golladay made seven catches on 14 targets.

Jones said Thursday he thinks Golladay is just too frustrated.
“I think he was frustrated with the situation, but I don’t think it was for me or for anyone in particular. We’re all good. I love Kenny, I thought he was playing hard and doing a lot. good stuff there, “said the Giants quarterback.
