Bettors aren’t optimistic that this is Saquon Barkley’s breakout game.

Kadarius Toney had a rough start with the New York Giants due to a leg injury that cost him time in training camp.

Fast forward to the start of Week 4, and the wide receiver has just four catches on five targets for 14 yards.

Part of it is just bad luck on the injury front. And a good deal of the blame is on an offense that didn’t target his first-round selection more. It also doesn’t help that Toney seems speak out about the problem after a week 2 loss.

Toney saw his highest number of snapshots in Week 3 (46), but quarterback Daniel Jones only targeted him three times while giving another four five or more targets. The report just isn’t there, although that may change – and it absolutely has flash potential – but the results haven’t been good.
