Gigi Hadid's wardrobe malfunction has left Marc Jacobs barefoot – Footwear News

When top-model Gigi Hadid participated in the Marc Jacobs Spring '20 fashion show on New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, she was curiously the only one not to have shoes.

The 24-year-old has rather slipped through the improvised warehouse track, barefoot on tiptoe, as if wearing high heels. While many thought it was intentional, given the whimsical nature of Jacobs' show this season, it turns out that this reflects a major wardrobe malfunction.

In the first round, Hadid ran the track in high heels. These were white leather clogs with a high wooden heel and decorative studs, accented by silver low socks.

Stylist Katie Grand explained in a message posted on Instagram today that between the first entry of the manikin and his second tour, the heel of a shoe broke. "As we were at the other end of the armory, we could not do anything but simulate a fake [unbroken] heel or tear his socks and shoes and send him barefoot, which we did, and [it] it was all the more natural, said Grand in his legend.

She has attached a video where we can see Hadid strutting without shoes after the malfunction.

Gigi's younger sister, Bella, also participated in the series and shared a video of the two to their installation on Instagram. In the clip, you can see Gigi pull the socks, with the help of Jacobs himself.
