It is not often that Variety manages to break the news to “The Crown” star and seasoned, award-winning actor Gillian Anderson, but on the afternoon of February 3, Anderson found himself walking through the door after a photoshoot to call us. . “I’m pretty tearful. It was a long journey. To play the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the small screen was, for Anderson, a dream. And she gave everything to make it happen.
