The final straw for Lucasfilm and Disney came when Carano came under fire for a social media post in which she compared the current political divide to events in Nazi Germany and conservatives to the Jewish people. She had previously drawn backlash for other comments on the coronavirus, the use of gender pronouns and voter fraud.

Speaking to Shapiro, she reiterated a previous claim that she learned of her dismissal from “The Mandalorian” on social media with everyone. However, she claims that an email that was accidentally sent to her put the writing on the wall before her dismissal.

Carano concludes her thoughts on the matter in the preview clip by doubling down on her claim that Disney was “intimidating” her into silencing her.
