TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Girl Scout Selling Cookies in Colorado seized a golden opportunity when she stumbled upon a photo of actor Jason Momoa: "Jason Momoa Samoas".
KUSA from Denver reports that Charlotte Holmberg is the CEO of Top Cookie for Girl Scouts.
The mother of Charlotte, a marketing professional, saw on social media an image of "Momoas", which represents the name of the actor Jason Momoa and chocolate cookies, caramel, coconut "Samoas" sold by Girl Scouts.
When the time came for Charlotte to sell cookies this year, she began to print images of the idyllic actor and stick them on dozens of Girl Scout cookie boxes.
Charlotte and her mother took a picture of her creation and shared it on Facebook. They say that their marketing tactics have been successful.
"Mothers get really excited and say they need them," Charlotte Holmberg told KUSA.
Charlotte told KUSA that she had sold 2,000 cans of cookies last year and that she was on track for another successful year.
