Gmail adds dark mode to Android 10 so you will not be blinded by email.

Sensitive eyes, rejoice: Google is rolling out the dark mode of its Gmail application on Android, a week after the launch of Android 10 on Google Pixel phones.

Android 10 offers a dark color scheme option that allows users to switch from white to white screen and black text to white screen, making screen and battery screens easier. When Google 10 was launched on September 3, Google launched the dark-themed Gmail app, among other things on the Android website. However, Reddit users were among the first to note that the application had been modified via a server-side update, reported XDADevelopers.

To access the dark mode of the Gmail app, Google Pixel users with Android 10 must download the latest version of Gmail on their device. Then they can access the general settings, select the "theme" option and choose between the clear, dark options and a default system option. The dark option will turn the background of the Gmail application into dark gray, as well as all inbox folders and most emails, noted XDADevelopers. If the theme option does not display yet, you may have to wait for the server-side change to affect your device.
