Typing errors are always annoying, but Google adds a new feature to Gmail to help you automatically correct typing errors. Although you can already use services like Grammarly to detect typos and grammar errors in your emails and other documents, Google is taking a step forward.
For G Suite business users, Google introduces a new spell check and grammar feature as you go, which will essentially give you no excuse for typing errors in your emails. The feature uses artificial intelligence to automatically detect spelling errors and suggest solutions. In addition, it will automatically correct some of these problems, which is really cool and save you a lot of time. By the way, this only works for English and current spelling mistakes.
For grammatical errors, Google displays a wavy blue line underneath the sentence indicating an error and you can hover over it to get a fix automatically suggested by Google. As for the automatic correction, it simply indicates an underline under the corrected modification for a few seconds before disappearing, which is a subtle way to inform you that a correction has been made.
The feature is being rolled out for G Suite users today and will be released more widely on September 12th. This feature is also enabled by default.
