Now, Gmail users can schedule e-mail, choose from suggested subject lines, and even get tips for writing Spanish-language messages.

The e-mail service celebrates its 15th anniversary on Monday by offering new features designed to get its 1.5 billion users to "send their emails smarter" by spending less time writing their messages.
Google claims that its predictive text function "Smart Compose", optimized by the AI, which offers suggestions for the rest of a word or phrase in order to save time when writing of messages, has already prevented from typing more than a billion characters each week 1,000 copies of the trilogy "The Lord of the Rings"). Smart Compose customization: The text suggested by Gmail now offers greetings and phrases "that are more like you," according to the press release. For example, you can: Reply to a comment feed in Google Docs; peruse hotel recommendations and travel offers; submit an RSVP and schedule an appointment; or fill out a questionnaire directly from the email.
